Chasing light from Wyoming and beyond

Welcome! I'm Samantha "Sammy" Scott, a photographer from Moorcroft, Wyoming, and I've been the one behind the camera for as long as I can remember. At family gatherings, road trips, and quiet evenings outdoors, I've always been drawn to the moments that light makes unforgettable.

Many of the photographs here were captured along Wyoming's backroads and open country — the snowy peaks of the Tetons, rodeo nights in Cody, old homesteads returning to the prairie, and storms glowing at sunset over the plains — and others come from travels further afield. If the light tells a story, I stop for it.

My hope is simple: to share the beauty and joy I've found through these moments. Every photograph is available as a high-resolution digital download, and many come as prints, mugs, blankets, and gifts printed and shipped to your door.
